FOLLOW PETER FACINELLI ON TWITTER

Okay, this is a bit random, but it's about Elizabeth's Twilight co-star Peter Facinelli. Peter's friend Rob DeFranco bet him that he couldn't get 500,000 followers on Twitter by June 19th. Here are the details from Peter's official site:

The search for 500K followers on TwitterWe're all a 'Twitter', so let's put it to good use!

For those of you who don't know, Peter has recently accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn't get 500,000 followers in a week. If Peter fails at reaching that goal by Midnight, Pacific time on June 19th, he will have to hand over the back of his Twilight director's chair, which he does not want to part with. However, if he can reach that goal, Rob has to dance down Hollywood Blvd, in a bikini, singing "All The Single Ladies' by Beyonce, while holding a sign saying "Twitter Me". The best part, Peter gets to video tape it and put it on YouTube for all the world to see! So, if you don't have a Twitter account, go make one and be sure to follow Peter. If you are already following him, you can tell your friends about the bet, and get them to tell their friends. We won't be able to do this without everyone's help. So let's show him what the fans can really do when they put their minds to it!
VANITY FAIR Q&A
Posted by Gwen in on Feb 15 2009 || Commenting is disabled ||
A bit late. From Vanity Fair:

Elizabeth Reaser, 33, plays Esme Cullen, the wife of Dr. Carlisle Cullen and the adoptive mother to Edward and his vampire siblings. Carlisle turned her into a vampire when she tried to kill herself after losing her son. Reaser’s breakout performance was as Jane Doe, the mystery patient in Grey’s Anatomy, and she starred in the now defunct The Ex-List.

VF Daily: Had you read the “Twilight” books before getting the script?
Elizabeth Reaser: I had never heard of the books before the audition. In fact, Catherine Hardwicke [the director] told me in the audition that it was a book because I was like, “What the hell is going on here?”

What do you make of the books?
I think the books are insanely popular because Stephenie is a great storyteller. And it’s romantic wish fulfillment.

Did you become friendly with your fellow castmates while filming?
I loved the vampires. They were fun. Also all the gals. Great gals.

Hometown?
Milford, Michigan.

Current residence?
A hotel in La Jolla.

Favorite book?
A tie between In the Skin of a Lion, The End of the Affair, and A Million Little Pieces.

Do you have any actors or directors you would love to work with?
Mike Leigh, Lars von Trier, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodóvar.

What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I love to lay in bed.

Celebrity crush?
No Hollywood crush.

EX LIST BOSS REVEALS "THE ONE" FOR BELLA
Posted by Gwen in on Nov 26 2008 || Commenting is disabled ||
And "The One" is her best friend Augie! Even though the show is cancelled, The Ex List will (or has?) finish its 13 episode order and may be released on DVD.

It was one of the most promising new series of the season, but after CBS X-d out show runner Diane Ruggiero and then X-d The Ex List from their Friday night lineup, this fun, girly dramedy starring Elizabeth Reaser became just another sad TV tale...and a source of frustration to fans who wanted answers.

"How would it have ended?" "Will we ever find out who was The One for Bella?"

Many of you fans have written in to beg for some kind of resolution, and, well, guess what I just scored? The exclusive answer from Ruggiero herself, plus inside scoop on whether we'll ever see more episodes... READ MORE
CBS PULLS THE EX LIST

That was fast. Ausiello reports:

Just call it the ex-Ex List.

CBS is pulling the struggling freshman drama off its schedule, effective immediately. An Eye insider confirms that the show's Friday 9 p.m. time slot will be filled this week with an NCIS rerun.

Since debuting last month, Ex List has been squandering nearly half of the audience of its lead-in, Ghost Whisperer. Last Friday's installment hit a series low 5.1 million viewers (compared with 9.9 for GW).

Well, this sucks. The Ex List was a cute show. CBS, the timeslot definitely didn't help!

Don't forget to watch Elizabeth's new show "The Ex List" on CBS tonight at 9 pm et/pt! Check out the synopsis of the pilot in the sidebar. I personally cannot wait to see the show and see two of my fave actors, Elizabeth and Eric Balfour (who's guest starring as an ex) interact.
FALL'S BEST BETS, #4: THE EX LIST
Posted by Gwen in on Sep 17 2008 || Commenting is disabled ||
Kristin at E! reports that show runner Diane Ruggiero has left "The Ex List" due to creative differences.

Thisclose. The Ex List was thisclose to being at the very top of our Best Bets for Fall TV list, right up until last Friday, when the news came down that woman-I-want-to-be-when-we-grow-up/girl-genius-at-large Diane Ruggiero (Veronica Mars) was leaving her position as show runner of the series due to "creative differences." Without Ruggiero's guidance, I'm sorry, but I'm not as convinced.

Unless...maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding?

Ruggiero goes on to explain that CBS wanted her to limit the usage of dude (dude!) and to more closely follow the original Israeli series, ultimately bringing in that show's creator, Segahl Avin, on to consult.

STARS YOU'LL LOVE, NUMBER 5: ELIZABETH REASER
Posted by Gwen in on Sep 16 2008 || Commenting is disabled ||
From Kristin at E! Online:

Our countdown of the Five Stars You’ll Love this fall begins today, with a look at the lovely and talented Elizabeth Reaser (most recently of Grey's Anatomy). Her series, The Ex List, just might be my favorite new show of the fall, and that is thanks, in no small part, to Elizabeth, who is finally breaking out into the leading-lady limelight she deserves.

Who She Is: As Seattle Grace’s tragically troubled trauma patient (and psych patient, and love interest to Justin Chambers' Alex Karev), the actress was nominated for an Emmy for her work on Grey’s Anatomy. The role gave her mainstream recognition, but was hardly Reaser’s first foray into television. The pretty and pouty 33-year-old Michigan native also appeared on Scrubs, The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and other series, along with indie films such as Sweet Land and Puccini for Beginners, where she made out with Gretchen Mol and Justin Kirk.

Where to Meet Her: On the former Veronica Mars soundstage down in San Diego, which is now home to CBS' The Ex List, a charming and funny new dramedy from former V.M. producer-writer Diane Ruggiero. Reaser plays Bella Bloom, a sassy and strong-willed thirtysomething woman who is told by a psychic she must reconnect with an ex-boyfriend and marry him in one year—or never get married at all.

Why You’ll Love Her: If you’ve ever wanted to move to the beach, open a flower shop, be courted by an endless supply of cute boys and, oh, yeah, look smokin’ hot while doing it, you will want to be Bella Bloom. If not, you’ll either want to be best friends with her or date her, because Elizabeth Reaser is so incredibly likable in this role. Tough, smart, witty, strong and yet vulnerable, you get the sense she’s not acting at all. She's the leading reason The Ex List works so well.

Check out E! Online for a Q&A with Elizabeth and there's a video up too!

When asked about the story arc, the writer said that there will be multiple men for Bella to date in each episode. “[F]or our purposes, there’s always going to be different ways to bring in multiple people or there will be a — you know, a dry couple acts while she’s looking. But it’s definitely — it’s not going to be just one after the other. It’s not like an assembly line of men,” she explained.
