We had a serious sit down with the Cullen family matriarch, Elizabeth Reaser, at the Breaking Dawn press junket and she didn’t hesitate when we which of her castmates had grown the most over the course of the Twilight franchise.
“Kristen seems to have grown a lot,” she said immediately. “She’s always been such a great actress and obviously she’s carrying this entire series on her back. … That we can even believe in this world is because we see it through Kristen’s eyes, and she makes it feel real. And I think that she just keeps growing as an actress, and I think it’s so exciting.”
In Breaking Dawn: Part 1 Kristen goes from portraying a high school girl to a wife and mother. Elizabeth tells us she was moved by her transformation. “I was completely blown away. I thought she was really wonderful. It was fun to watch her on set with a kid and to see how she handled that. It was pretty cute.”
Author Stephenie Meyer also spoke about the bond Kristen formed with her onscreen daughter, played by Mackenzie Foy. “She put so much thought into [playing a mom] beforehand,” said the author. “She kind of fell in love with Mackenzie. … She was a natural with it. She just got that instinct to protect on her own.”

Favorite place to film Elizabeth Reaser: I loved Portland.
How was it working with Mackenzie? Jackson: Peter’s a lot like Carlisle. He’s the rock of the Cullen family and the rock of our family. Elizabeth: I think Peter is most like his character.
Any scene in the movie that only took one take? Peter: The camera you have to picture is this big elaborate camera move. Then they go to Jackson doing a flip and they were supposed to go to us just smiling. But I was like, ‘I want to dance!’ They landed on me and I tried to spin her. But she didn’t expect it so it was messy. Elizabeth: It was a really elaborate shot. It was really early in the morning and it was like our last scene.
What was the last scene? Ashley: It was cold. And we were tired. It was really nice to wrap everyone together. Elizabeth: That was our first wrap. But then we had our second unit. Peter and I were wrapping at the exact same time. We had this epic hug. We were excited and sad and excited
What’s your favorite book from the Saga? Ashley: My favorite was Twilight. It’s what got me obsessed with the series. Elizabeth: Me too.
Have you seen Breaking Dawn yet? Elizabeth: It’s off the charts amazing.
Any family members Twilight fans? Elizabeth: Gotta be. If they aren’t they are lying.
Upcoming projects? E: I have a movie coming out next month called Young Adult. I have another movie written and directed by Josh Radner from HIMYM.
Are you close off screen? E: These are the types of relationships [you can't create.] It bonded us in a way that’s so unique and will probably be live long.
I'm really glad we have a transcript of this even if it's not exact because I haven't come across a video of it!

Hi everyone! I have been on a cruise and got home last night very tired and ended up going right to sleep when I got in bed so now I am going to give you all the news I missed!
The supporting characters provide the homespun humanity Mavis lacks, especially Wilson as the bland new papa and Elizabeth Reaser as his funloving wife.
A sneak peek of Breaking Dawn - Part 1 aired on Wednesday night durning ABC's show Revenge and before the sneak peek Elizabeth was one of the cast members to talk about the wedding in the movie and you see her in the clip as well! Check it out:

Starting on November 1-15th in select theaters across the country you will be able to watch Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse so this is your chance to see a lot of Elizabeth before Breaking Dawn - Part 1 so be sure to check out this Facebook post for all your info! Before the Twilight and Eclipse screenings they will show cast members talking about the 2 movies so maybe you'll see some of Elizabeth then as well? You'll just have to wait and see.
Elizabeth will be at the Breaking Dawn - Part 1 fan convention on November 5th in the afternoon so to get your tickets and read all the info you can go here!

Thanks to High-Def Digest I found out that The Art of Getting By DVD and Blu-ray will come out on November 29th!!!
Will you be getting the DVD or Blu-ray DVD? I have it on my Netflix list and will of course make screencaps for you! I can't wait to get the DVD because the movie didn't play where I live so I will now get to see it!
