Kristin at E! reports that show runner Diane Ruggiero has left "The Ex List" due to creative differences.
Thisclose. The Ex List was thisclose to being at the very top of our Best Bets for Fall TV list, right up until last Friday, when the news came down that woman-I-want-to-be-when-we-grow-up/girl-genius-at-large Diane Ruggiero (Veronica Mars) was leaving her position as show runner of the series due to "creative differences." Without Ruggiero's guidance, I'm sorry, but I'm not as convinced.
Unless...maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding?
Ruggiero goes on to explain that CBS wanted her to limit the usage of dude (dude!) and to more closely follow the original Israeli series, ultimately bringing in that show's creator, Segahl Avin, on to consult.
Our countdown of the Five Stars You’ll Love this fall begins today, with a look at the lovely and talented Elizabeth Reaser (most recently of Grey's Anatomy). Her series, The Ex List, just might be my favorite new show of the fall, and that is thanks, in no small part, to Elizabeth, who is finally breaking out into the leading-lady limelight she deserves.
Who She Is: As Seattle Grace’s tragically troubled trauma patient (and psych patient, and love interest to Justin Chambers' Alex Karev), the actress was nominated for an Emmy for her work on Grey’s Anatomy. The role gave her mainstream recognition, but was hardly Reaser’s first foray into television. The pretty and pouty 33-year-old Michigan native also appeared on Scrubs, The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and other series, along with indie films such as Sweet Land and Puccini for Beginners, where she made out with Gretchen Mol and Justin Kirk.
Where to Meet Her: On the former Veronica Mars soundstage down in San Diego, which is now home to CBS' The Ex List, a charming and funny new dramedy from former V.M. producer-writer Diane Ruggiero. Reaser plays Bella Bloom, a sassy and strong-willed thirtysomething woman who is told by a psychic she must reconnect with an ex-boyfriend and marry him in one year—or never get married at all.
Why You’ll Love Her: If you’ve ever wanted to move to the beach, open a flower shop, be courted by an endless supply of cute boys and, oh, yeah, look smokin’ hot while doing it, you will want to be Bella Bloom. If not, you’ll either want to be best friends with her or date her, because Elizabeth Reaser is so incredibly likable in this role. Tough, smart, witty, strong and yet vulnerable, you get the sense she’s not acting at all. She's the leading reason The Ex List works so well.
Check out E! Online for a Q&A with Elizabeth and there's a video up too!
WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back to Elizabeth Reaser Fan! I hope you like the new look. I'm not exactly done with it yet. I need to work on the coding a bit more and add more content (like buttons and stuff). I've had the flu these past days and I felt too ugh to work on the site. I hope to have everything up and running soon!

When asked about the story arc, the writer said that there will be multiple men for Bella to date in each episode. “[F]or our purposes, there’s always going to be different ways to bring in multiple people or there will be a — you know, a dry couple acts while she’s looking. But it’s definitely — it’s not going to be just one after the other. It’s not like an assembly line of men,” she explained.

Elizabeth is listed and also The Ex-List as “Breakout stars” and “New shows with promise”.
1. Elizabeth Reaser, “The Ex-List” (CBS): This Bloomfield Hills native has been waiting for her moment in the spotlight. First, Reaser, 33, co-starred in a barely watched medical drama called “Saved” on TNT, and then she starred in a barely watched but very good movie called “Sweet Land.” But it wasn’t until she played Alex Karev’s (Justin Chambers) amnesia-riddled and troubled love interest on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” that she truly commanded the attention she deserved. This fall she’ll star as Bella Bloom, a career woman whose fortune teller sends her on a mission to find her soul mate in a pile of discarded ex-boyfriends.
2. “The Ex List” (CBS, debuts 9 p.m. Oct. 3): Elizabeth Reaser is pretty but not in an intimidating way, which makes her very popular with women, and she’s smart, so is CBS for giving her a show. The only thing working against “The Ex List” is its Friday timeslot.

It says really nice things about the show and Elizabeth though they also say it might be hard because of the timeslot!
"The Ex List" proves that Elizabeth Reaser, last seen on "Grey’s Anatomy", can front a series. The hook here is she plays a single woman who is told by a psychic that if she is ever to marry it will be in one year, to a man she has already dated, which sends her going through her past to find the one.
