Pamela Fisher of the hollandsentinel just gave Against the Current four out of five stars after its screening at the Watefront Film Festival: "This etude of a film, with its lyrically phrased pacing, is one of the finest I’ve seen screened at this festival over the years – and sacrifices nothing to dramatic arc as it flows toward its inexorable conclusion." The Hollywood Reporter review: PARK CITY — Outfitting his river movie Against the Current with comedy, sadness and wit, writer-director Peter Callahan plunges into the Hudson for a downstream swim through emotional currents that run stronger and more treacherously than the river’s. Callahan has written a smart movie, and his casting might be even smarter. This essentially is a three-hander in which Joseph Fiennes, Justin Kirk and Elizabeth Reaser shine in meaty roles with crisp dialogue. I really wish the movie would have been in movie theaters because Elizabeth is having great things said about her performance & the movie is getting great things said about it as well! I really hope they have more screeenings! |

While there are several cast members from Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon (as well as related musicians) who, in fact, do have Twitter accounts, there are also those that, sadly, do not. Included in the "do not" list are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Also unknown to have Twitter accounts are Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Taylor Lautner, and Elizabeth Reaser. This is good to know. So if anyone was wondering we know that Elizabeth is NOT on Twitter! |

Entertainment Weekly has Elizabeth in a post saying: Knight's departure would seem to confirm that George doesn't survive, although fans have wondered whether Rhimes is planning to pull an Elizabeth Reaser (Jane Doe/Rebecca) and have him live, only to be replaced by another actor, thanks to plastic surgeon Sloane's handiwork. I really hope that we see Elizabeth on the show again. I still think there is hope for Jane Doe/Ava/Rebecca & I'd love to see her back on the show! ALSO I JUST WANTED TO SAY I HOPE ELIZABETH HAD A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY WITH ALL HER FRIENDS & FAMILY!!! :) |

Okay, this is a bit random, but it's about Elizabeth's Twilight co-star Peter Facinelli. Peter's friend Rob DeFranco bet him that he couldn't get 500,000 followers on Twitter by June 19th. Here are the details from Peter's official site: We're all a 'Twitter', so let's put it to good use!For those of you who don't know, Peter has recently accepted a bet with a friend of his named Rob, from development company 211me-Inc.com. Rob bet that Peter couldn't get 500,000 followers in a week. If Peter fails at reaching that goal by Midnight, Pacific time on June 19th, he will have to hand over the back of his Twilight director's chair, which he does not want to part with. However, if he can reach that goal, Rob has to dance down Hollywood Blvd, in a bikini, singing "All The Single Ladies' by Beyonce, while holding a sign saying "Twitter Me". The best part, Peter gets to video tape it and put it on YouTube for all the world to see! So, if you don't have a Twitter account, go make one and be sure to follow Peter. If you are already following him, you can tell your friends about the bet, and get them to tell their friends. We won't be able to do this without everyone's help. So let's show him what the fans can really do when they put their minds to it! |

hollandsentinel has a review on Against the Current & had this to Say about Elizabeth: While engaging, love interest Elizabeth Reaser is occasionally swept under in the tide of Fiennes’ performance, left slightly adrift. The screening was at Saugatuck, MI & they are going to have another screening there on Sunday at 4:30 p.m so if any of you Elizabeth fans go see it be sure to tell us your thoughts. :) |
