LIBERAL ARTS AT SUNDANCE LONDON AND THE ART OF GETTING BY SCREENCAPS!

I thought it was cool to see Elizabeth in such a different role than what we've seen her in before! She plays the mother of Sally and she is one of those of those mothers who to me says things she shouldn't tell Sally like things about her sex! If I remember right Elizabeth said Charlotte is inappropriate and that is so true to me in the scene where she tells George "Ticklish men make great lovers." and making out in public with her boyfriend. Something that caught my attention was when Sally tells her mom she didn't want her moms advice on her sex life because she didn't call her 'mom' she called her by her name 'Charlotte'. It makes me wonder how Sally viewed her mother. Even though Charlotte is a inappropriate mother I believe she does love Sally and cares about her. I think it shows when Sally tells George that her mom wants her to go with her to Texas. I truly had a great time watching Elizabeth as Charlotte and wish she had a bigger part! The movie was really Sally and George's story so I understand why she wasn't in it much but I just wish she was in it more because it was so cool to watch her as the inappropriate mother!
